Limewire is full of spyware/trojans and viruses.STOP using it now.Delete it from your computer immediately.You will not lose anything that you have downloaded ,as it is already in your computer.Now switch to FROSTWIRE. I did, and what a difference.I have NEVER EVER had a problem with them.And it downloads much faster.limewire coused so many problems with my computer that i had to reboot.I lost everything by doing this.once i reinstalled my xp i downloaded the frostwire.

You’re probably not going to find an actual website to download limelimewire pro from. If you really want it, you’re going to have to use bittorrent, and that’s a little more complicated than going to a website.

If you ask me, it isn’t worth getting. it’s not any faster than normal limewire, it just doesn’t have any ads.

I’m going to try to download a Videogame file online off of limewirepro, but I dont know what kind of cd to burn it onto. Can I just use a Cd-R or Dvd-R? Would that work?

Use a Data Cd disc. NOT a DVD or a Music CD disc.

I would recommend buying a 4GB flash drive. Its so much easier, faster, and frankly, smaller.

Well, you can download Frostwire, which is nearly identical to limewire pro (except it is free); or you can download limelimewire Pro off Limewire.

I typed in lime wire pro in the programs search and then there was a whole buch of limewire programs that came up. Please tell me which one i click on and thenonce it downloads how and where will i be able to access it.

You would download the one that is closest in size to the free version. About 4mb if i recall right. It will be stored in the folder that you directed Limewire to save downloads in. Dont forget to scan the file for viruses and malware before trying to extract/install.

I use LimeWire Pro and paid for it and heard it is virus free. Is this true? I am getting a new computer and want a program that uses P2P that is a good, safe program. Does anyone know if how safe limewire pro is or is there any better program out there that is virus free that is better? Oh i also use Vuze as my bittorrent so I am good for torrents.

You will not get viruses if you are careful about what files you download. Also, scan all files before you open/run them.

If all you are downloading is music, then don’t worry. Music files can’t easily contain viruses, so you are safe.

Itunes is expensive and locked down. Plus they force you to use their crappy third-rate software to manage your library. Do not be a victim of Apple Fraud.
