Can you guys tell me how to get limewire for free? I tried getting the Classic but I think I am doing it wrong. Can you guys help me? Thanks in advance.

All u gotta do is just get the basic one dat says for free and a window will pop up that says "Run" and just click it and then just follow the steps.

New books are under copyright protection. Unless the authors put them online somewhere for free, or your local library has e-book versions available for download, you are probably out of luck.

Sites that scan copyrighted books and make them available with no payment to the author are inconsiderate to the author, and they’re illegal. You would not want that to happen to your book.

I bought limewire and figured if i did i could get tv shows and movies for my ipod..but when i put them on my itunes they won’t go on my ipod.. any help?

There are many different ways to get it.
One way is to use torrents. Go to website like www.thepiratebay.org, www.mininova.com, or www.torrentz.com.
Another way is to directly download youtube videos. For this, you can simply go to www.keepvid.com and it will allow you to download the video.
There are more ways, and you can simply search "how to download movies to ipod" in a search engine.
Or… buy the movie/tv show I guess?

I have always used limewire to get music for my iPod. Now I want to use it for movies to put onto my iPod classic. Will it play them?

if its in mp4 format, it will, but if not, better download a converter.

This is what i did,i searched the iternet for some help on how to make my lime wire stop loading up automatically.I found this answer which is four years old:
go to
1. start
2. run
3. type msconfig hit enter
4. go to the startup tab
5. look in the list for limewire and unckeck it
6. hit apply
7. restart if you like

My pc restarted automatically and its theme was windows classic,i tried changing through right clicking then ging on properties etc but nothing works,so please help!

Its just grey and i’m starting to feel a littlr bit depressed

Try these two things

1. Right click on the toolbar then properties then start menu tab then click start menu click apply and it should probably ask to restart for changes to take effect.

2. Try to delete your Limewire (uninstall) go back into msconfig on the general tab click normal startup and restart windows it should start up normal. If this works then try to reinstall limewire it should give you an optiion when you install it to not startup automatically.

3. My opinion is P2P software is like a bad STD its hard to get rid of the stuff you might get from them.

I also have other ideas if that doesnt work

I would suggest you uninstall limewire and install a torrent software like "Utorrent" As Limewire is known to cause all sorts of problems and headaches. There isn’t anything seriously wrong with your computer so don’t worry, it’s just Limewire pulling it’s shenanigans

That’s because your iPod doesn’t want the same virus you already have on your computer. And not only is downloading music from shareware unsafe, it’s illegal too. As for the others who will chime in for two lousy points to tell you otherwise, they’re flat-out lying, incredibly ignorant and/or have just been lucky — for now, anyway.

so i need a version of i-tunes since i got a new laptop. Which version if I-tunes can i download FREE off the web THAT ALLOWS songs from LIME-WIRE ?!?

The Latest version of iTunes is the only one you can download. lime wire works great with iTunes, just add the folder to your iTunes music library by going File>Add Folder to library>locate the limewire folder>click add. iTunes 9 is the latest version.

Yes, they make contain dangerous virus that will "f" up your ipod. So download the program eMule. It’s the same as limewire, only you have to be more patient and there will be no viruses whatsoever.

A few problems…
–I can’t connect to the internet, and it’s not the fault of our provider.
–I can’t play any music with limewire or Zune (software)
–I have Window’s XP and as for the ’site theme’, if you will, instead of the smooth GUI for XP, it went back to the old square Windows Classic theme.
–Windows Defender doesn’t work, when it usually would.
Sounds like a small virus, but I don’t know.
How do you do that?

usually when something like that happens to me.. i save all my music and anything i want saved and i reimage my system.. usually that fixes every problem…
