People still use limewire? It’s so year 2000. Best way to avoid viruses completely is to join a community and do direct downloads, or at very least, use torrents.

Ya, you can put them in files, but limewires sucks and may cause you viruses
My primary mode of downloading is iTunes. However occasionally I use my limewire to download things (legally, of coarse!). Whenever a download completes from limewire it ALWAYS opens up my iTunes and it’s added to the library. I don’t want this! I want the libraries kept separate! What can I do to fix this?
Itunes is probably set to monitor that folder for new songs. Go into options in Itunes to check for it. Also check Options in Limewire too and see if there is any option for linking it to Itunes. Check under the File, Edit ,View,etc. menus at the top of the programs and look for Options or Preferences.
