yes. but tread careful on file sharing. I'd do a quick scan once you download.you always seem to find a tracking cookie.

Cant seem to easily copy over music files from lime wire to itunes, what am i doing wrong many thanks for your help!!

I just select all the songs that you want to transfer and then drag them over to the itunes library..you should see a litte box next to the arrow..hope that helps

I’ve tried to access my limewire pro software but it shows a firewall prevention wall next to the connection status. I have set my Norton Software to recognize this and to allow custom limitations for access, but it still will not remove the firewall from Limewire.

What more can I do?

Are you behind a router? This will be detected as a firewall because essentially it is a hardware firewall if it uses Network Address Translation.

You will need to port forward the limewire listening port to enable better data transmission.

I highly suggest not using Limewire anymore. The software itself is full of spyware which slows down your computer and can potentially risk your personal information getting into the hands of others. And the network is full of fake files, and viruses.

WinMX on the other hand, has no spyware, no fake files, and is fast and easy to use.

If you find the folder that your limewire music goes to and then you 'add folder' onto your windows media player, it works fine.
