I installed and payed for limewire pro at work and everytime I run it, it says that it can’t be connected because of a firewall… how do you get the LimeWire to fully connect to the internet?

The ports needed by Limewire are blocked by the company firewall. Since the company you work for doesn’t want to get sued by the RIAA you are running a very very big risk of getting fired. You’ll have to take limewire off the work computer. It isn’t worth risking your job over some stolen music.

I have the regular free version. I heard you can get the PRO version for free. I heard you just search for it then download it, but I also heard a lot of the files are viruses.

Can anyone tell me the exact FILE NAME and KB it has so I can find the VIRUS-FREE one?

I have also seen a link from Rapidshare that is supposed to let you download the limewire pro version for free. Woud that work?

Hi there, you should go to the following URL: limewirepro.com however, it is not REALLY free! It lets you trial it for a period of time and then you have to pay for it. There is also an offer to buy the full version at a 30% discount.

If you want a much better program that does the same thing as Limewire and is TOTALLY free, (and virus / spyware / adware free), then check out FrostWire (the newest version is 4.17). You can get it through CNET at www.download.com - a site that only carries freeware or shareware from trusted sources. Just lookup FrostWire in the search area. It's easy to load and does the same thing as limewire Pro. Good luck.

I have Limewire that’s all free and I noticed it costs some money to get limewire pro. How’s it different? How much dies it cost? If the PRO is better how is it better than just the free one?

Well the pro version of limewire is has a feature “turbo” which will help you download torrents faster. But i personally dont like torrents. there are sites uses http instead of torrents.

But rember limewire is illigal (if you download illigal stuff but the software itself aint)
